UK ceramic artist Margaret O'Rorke for the integration of light works in porcelain. O'Rorke is the author of a new book by Clay, light and water. From the Artist's Statement www.castlight.co.uk O'Rorke's at: In the last 26 years I worked as a ceramic artist in my studio. The translucency of fine high-fired porcelain to capture my imagination and led me into sculptural forms to create the kind of light generated. The ideas come from the nature of the material forms that can grow from the potter's wheel, theCombustion process and a sense of adventure with the light and space.
